LOCAL MISSIONS
THRIVE CARE

Meeting on the second Friday night each month, our Thrive Care team provides a safe and inclusive space for people in the Geelong Community who find themselves marginalise. As well as building relationships, Thrive Care meets the practical needs of people through hair cuts, foot and hand care, and toiletry items. Thrive Care also provides an opportunity to hear and learn about Jesus through devotionals and a Bible Study.
Mumco

Meeting fortnightly during the school term, MumCo welcomes Mum's of Pre-Schoolers and Primary Aged Children into a welcoming and accepting community to experience authentic connection, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope. Childcare is provided so that Mums can be present and enjoy a cuppa and a chat. We see MumCo as a fantastic getaway for our Grace Mum's to invite other Mum's from their world into our Church community.
Hope tour

Since its inception in 2016, Hope Tour is a high school outreach ministry with a mission to bring a message of Hope to as many young people as possible, which is already over 75,000 students. Hope Tour currently operates in Victoria, Canberra and Western Australia. Grace Church is committed to financially supporting this ministry as well as sending people to participate in the school program.
alpha

Our local Alpha Team are committed to facilitating an Alpha Course annually. Through a series of interactive sessions, people are able to ask questions about Jesus, and explore the meaning of life and faith in a safe, non-judgemental space.
youth camps

Each year, Grace Youth are part of two Christian Youth camps; History Makers Conference in the Term 3 School Holidays, and SummerFest in the Summer School Holidays. Research suggests that as high as 94% of adult Christians made a decision to accept Jesus as their Saviour and Lord before the age of 18. Youth Camps are an incredibly opportunity for young people to hear The Gospel, and have an encounter with Jesus. We are committed to seeing as many young people as possible attend these camps through subsidising the cost as well as sponsorships.

The vision is to foster an environment in which deaf children can cultivate life-affirming skills, achieve academic success, and grow in faith. Operating since 2016, the school has provided education for 18 deaf children, and desires to grow this number to over 100 children in the coming years. Our partnership will support NCCH to build new classroom facilities due to the current facilities being unsafe for use.
