Sunday Recap - Easter at Grace - Jesus Reigns - 18th and 20th April

The Easter account is truly life changing for all who accept and receive it. On Good Friday we remember Christs sacrificial death in place of our sin and on resurrection Sunday we celebrate the empathy tomb and eternal life. This year our theme was ‘Jesus Reigns’. Jesus reigns over sin and death and through Him we have the same authority. Through Christ we reign in life, sin and death no longer have control or power over us. Hallelujah!  
 
On resurrection Sunday, Jonny encouraged us that through Christ we live in the power of the resurrection which changes everything. Jonny encouraged us that some exchanges have taken place in our life, see these below:

Death for Eternal Life
 
Consider and reflect what these statements mean to you as a follower of Jesus living in the power of the resurrection.

Romans 8:11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.
Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
