Sunday Recap - Let’s Talk Relationships

Let’s Talk Relationships with Ps Nick and Meredith Resce
Message Overview:
We have been created for relationship with God and with people. Our relationships can be broad and wide: family, marriage, parenting, friends, work colleagues, church community. The reality is that relationships can be both beautiful and painful. Ps Nick and Meredith shared with us that we each carry insecurity, immaturity and brokenness whether we realise it or not and we each bring these into our relationships with one another.
Becoming aware of our insecurity, immaturity and brokenness is the first step. Working through them is a life time journey of discipleship which we are all on. The good news is that Jesus desires for us to be whole and healthy. This happens through the work of the Holy Spirit, healthy Church community and taking some intentional and practical steps.
Ps Nick and Meredith shared that Gods desire is not that we would be just be healthy spiritually, but we would be healthy across all areas of our lives. They introduced some practical and holistic ‘pillars’ to help us become self aware and grow in our wholeness. These are Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Relational and Financial. We were encouraged to pause once per month and mark out of 10 how you are going in each of these areas, find someone who you can chat to about how you are going and consider practical steps to address areas which may be on the lower side.
