Sunday Recap - Navigating The Signs of The Times

Since Genesis 3 with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the enemy of God has been attempting to deceive humanity. Throughout the scriptures, we are continually warned to NOT be deceived, to not be led astray by the schemes of the enemy. This can look like the enemy trying to twist the Word of God - through false teachers or prophets, through strange signs and wonders. We will see evil called good and good called evil - and we need to be able to push against the narrative that speaks against the Truth of the gospel revealed in Christ crucified.
We must be on guard against this. How do we do this?
1. We MUST know the Word of God. We must read it, memorise it, repeat it, teach it to our children.
2. We must 'test every spirit' and ask the Spirit to lead us into all truth (John 16). We need DISCERNMENT in these days to be able to identify deceptive spirits/narratives. 
3. We need to look at the 'Fruit' in the lives of those around us that we allow to speak into our lives - whether online or in our own lives. Is it good fruit or bad fruit. 
4. We MUST love those around us. Our battle is not against flesh and blood. We must be a light to the people around us. To communicate the truth, in love, as the Spirit leads us.

"Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the World." Amen!
