Sunday Recap - Pastor Karen Hewitt - 22 June 2025

Sunday 22 June 2025 – Pastor Karen Hewitt
Message Overview:
Last Sunday, Pastor Karen preached a strong word about denying ourselves, picking up our cross and following Jesus.
She spoke about giving our full allegiance to Him alone, and we do this through giving up the passions and desires of the flesh. Pastor Karen shared three key points:
1. Self denial is something we have to do regularly.
2. We need to have a true understanding of self. We need to know our weaknesses so we can surrender these to Him.
3. All discipleship is extreme. 'Picking up our cross' is all or nothing! No half measures.
All of this is so we can spread the message of the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Are we willing to follow Him regardless of the cost, so we can see more people enter Eternity with Jesus?
