Sunday Recap - Advance Missions Week Three - June 15

Last Sunday, Pastor Caleb shared passionately about his family's experience church planting in Launceston, Tas. He used the example of Joseph from Genesis 37.

During Advance Missions, we are each challenged to step out in faith in seeing God's kingdom advance here on Earth - and the part that we will play in it. Often when we step out in faith, we want all the details, but God only gives us the direction we are to go, and we have to trust Him with the rest! There were times in Joseph's story where he would have questioned what he was going through; situations that he didn't understand while going through them, but each moment was an opportunity for him to continue trusting in God to do what He said He would do. There is so much we can learn from this example of stepping out in faith in the direction God is calling us, while perhaps not having all the details - but isn't that exactly what faith is - trusting God, even when we don't see it all.
